Taqua Expands to Asia, Middle East & Latam to Cater for Operator Demand for VoWiFi

At the recent LTE World Summit in Amsterdam, Taqua, a leading supplier of mobile and fixed communications solutions, announced several new partnerships with leading regional telecoms systems integrators and solutions providers to help fulfill the demand for its Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) solution set in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. These new partnerships will extend Taqua’s existing presence in North America and Europe to key growth regions, allowing the company to serve a growing list of mobile communications service providers that are interested in deploying VoWiFi to improve their indoor service coverage.

According to Taqua, this new set of Taqua partners will sell and support the company’s Virtual Mobile Core and Mobile Client solution, which enables VoWiFi and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services utilizing an Operator’s existing mobile infrastructure without the need for expensive or complicated upgrades.
