Larry Lang Becomes CEO of PLUMgrid

SDN/NFV startup firm, PLUMgrid, Wednesday announced the appoinment of Larry Lang as the new chief executive officer of the company, taking over from Awais Nemat who has been appointed chairman of the board of directors. Nemat, who founded PLUMgrid four years ago and served as CEO, will continue to foster and support the growth of PLUMgrid.

Lang has held executive positions including president and CEO of Quorum Labs, vice president and general manager of the mobile internet business unit at Cisco Systems, and vice president of product management at Ipsilon Networks, now part of Nokia. His board service includes Violin Memory and previously BelAir Networks, now part of Ericsson.
